Since it's been around for so long compared to other apps, this is hand-down the most popular running tracker app. The wealth of user-generated routes is huge, so you'll never be stuck without a new route to try. Free. For IOS and Android. IMHO it's still really limited, and could use a design upgrade to make finding new routes to more visual but it gets the job done. 
  • Runner's World Go - You better be certain that Runner's World would eventually come out with an app. This one is an HD version of most other running apps, given the wealth of information they've garnered in articles. It tracks everything you'll want to know: routes, real-time local weather, Runner's World Training Plans, gear and clothing advice.
